How to Use My 9 Books — A Beginner's Guide
My 9 Books is a free web tool that lets you pick 9 books or manga and create a beautiful grid image to share. Here's how to use it.
1. Select Books
Tap any of the 9 empty slots on the home page to open the search panel.
- Search by title or author
- Use "Advanced" search for title, author, or ISBN separately
- Sort by relevance, newest, or best sellers
- Can't find it? Use "Add by title" to enter it manually
2. Add Comments (Optional)
Tap the comment icon on any slot to write a short note about why you chose that book.
3. Enter Your Name (Optional)
Add your name and X (Twitter) handle at the top. They'll appear on your share image and page.
4. Save the Image
Tap "Save Image" to generate and download a 3×3 grid image of your picks.
5. Share
"Share on X" opens a pre-filled post. Attach your saved image and post.
"Share Link" copies a URL to a web page showing your picks with:
- Book details and your comments
- Amazon and Rakuten links
- Recommendations based on similar users
- Other users with similar taste
6. Edit Later
Your draft is auto-saved in the browser. Come back anytime to update your picks.
